Our sole source of information regarding Rocio is derived from this issue of Man, dated August of 1997. In fact, all of the photos on this site, and as far as we can tell, all of the photos of Rocio available on the Internet, come from this magazine issue.

Readers of an earlier version of this website knew that before we had a copy of the magazine, we were only speculating regarding the source of all of the Rocio photos. Well, we now have a copy of the magazine, and we confirm that indeed all of the photos come from this magazine.

Man is a Spanish-language magazine which is published in Spain by a large publishing house called Grupo Zeta. We know that Grupo Zeta publishes numerous magazines including Interviu and others. If anyone can help us contact Grupo Zeta, we would be greatly appreciative...please contact us!

One of the benefits of having a copy of the magazine is that we found three additional pictures of Rocio that we had never seen before on the internet! (See photos.) Another benefit is that we were able to rescan some of the images which had been truncated for one reason or another.

And perhaps the greatest benefit is that there was a short article which was included with the photo session! Unfortunately, the article is in Spanish, and we (as we have noted ad nauseum) don't speak Spanish. So, thank heavens for Gonzalo Rodríguez Píriz, who provided us with a translation that actually makes sense (unlike the Google translation robot). Thanks a million Gonzalo!!!!!!

So, the article gives us the information which we've used to create the miniscule Bio page, which is better than not having a Bio page at all!
